Peter Pan Collar Ideas

For a while I've been wanting to make a "peter pan" collar and I think this weekend when I am free I will try both of these out. Links are included!

 design 1:
This is a crocheted pattern I found and I really like how it looks. I'm not sure which color I will make it in though. It's also in UK terms, but the author puts US terms in parenthesis.

I think it would be very nice to go over dresses or plain dressy cute shirts.

I just found this youtube video and thought this idea was so awesome. I'd have to go out an find pearls for this, or maybe even sequence or glitter.
